Autumn Wish List

Ah, Autumn. My favorite season not only for the weather but the vibes that go with it! I personally don't like hot weather, and would rather be bundled up in tons of layers. This year I really have been finding myself- both life and fashion wise. So this "wish-list" really does feel like me and one I'll look back on Fall 2016 and still love.

Clothing

The first category I want to share on my want list is the clothing. Jeans, that aren't boyfriend cut, are almost a necessity for me this fall. My only pair of skinny jeans I have left have a large whole in the upper thigh region (...I know) and they need to be thrown out. These AG denim jeans look fabulous, and the store I work at sells similar ones that I am able to try on (jeans, for me, are a nonnegotiable try on- no online buying allowed).

The next pair of jeans are from Free People and are flares. Yes, flares. What I love is that they come in "short"  for people, like me, who are under the standard 5'9" model height. However, they only come ONLINE. I haven't figured out how to work this one yet lol. Flares are definitely more of a trend piece, but I've always been attracted to the extreme wide leg style that suggests a carefree vibe.

The next item is a shirt dress. I need to stop wearing men's shirts as dresses and invest in an actual dress.. I love the simplicity of this one from Monsoon as it is exactly what you want a shirtdress to be- a shirt that's a bit longer. Ta-da, that's it! No fru fru, drop waists, or frills here!

The CK shirt is from Urban and I've actually tried it on. Now, why don't I own it? Beats me, I wasn't thinking and now all I do is think about it! It's a simplistic top that can be worn with jeans to create a casual, yet fashionable, outfit. Calvin Klein, and this teeshirt, will never go out of style. Also, now whenever someone asks who made my teeshirt, I can do my best whiny Cher "Calvin Klein!" impression. (If you haven't seen Clueless, what are you doing with your life!?!)

Lastly is this GORGEOUS leather jacket. I fell in love with a leather jacket from Ralph Lauren while I was in Chicago that I should have bought. But sadly that wasn't possible because of a lost price tag on it. It was an amazing motocross inspired jacket and this one from Kay Micheals is just like it! A leather jacket will always spice up the edge of an outfit, and create the perfect biker chic look.

Shoes

All I can say is, loafers. This season's "it" shoe has really taken my heart! As you saw in my latest haul post, I've already gotten my hands on one leopard pair and now I want to expand my collection even more. The suede pair, from J-Crew, is a style I usually would have never went for. However, I dig out soft and girly the shoe is!

Contrasting with the feminine loafer is an extreme pointed toe shoe from The No Animal Brand. These delightful shoes are a statement piece. However, they can be added to a printed ensemble without throwing print in your face!

Lastly is an over-the-knee style boot that I want desperately. These are from Stuart Weitzman and are so chic. Pair these with an all black outfit for a sexy look, or a mini and sweater for a cuter day look!

Accessories

I'm in dire need of accessories. Why? Because I don't buy them for myself! I find it hard to spend 20 bucks on a necklace or hat when it is such a small piece. Jewelry is especially hard because I want it to have a costume look but being real metals. Ain't nobody got time for the green finger ring! I already have a faux septum ring, but I want more! Not a lot of people like them, but I say- wear what you want! I ADORE this look. I would never get it pierced, so I like the option of the faux ring.

Dainty bar earrings, and minimalistic designs are the type of styles I love. These bar earrings are fabulous and I want a pair in silver and gold as well as in longer lengths! I can't seem to stick to one type of metal, so I feel the need to have the same pair in silver and gold! #choices

I'm a big believer in wearing only ball caps that have sports logos on it, like my Cubbies hat for instance, however I feel like a plain black ball cap is okay since it doesn't have some weird brand name on it! I love ball caps, and I think can take an outfit to the next level! A shirt dress, ball cap (worn backwards or forwards), and some cute chucks = game changer.

Makeup

Ah makeup. I have so much, yet not any. I've been trying to use up all of my eye shadows, foundations, primers, etc before I buy any new ones and man is it hard! Once my eye shadows are mainly gone, I plan to get the Naked palette from Urban Decay. Yes, the original one. I personally love the gold tones in this, dare I say, perfect edition and didn't even think twice about trying out one of the other editions!

Thanks to my lovely Aunt, I have found my new lipstick obsession! These Audacious Lipsticks from Nars are long-wearing, pigmented and creamy (while being matte). I have one already, in the shade 'Anna,' and want a couple more! The next shade I will go for is a dark bordeaux color as I have used up my Makeup Forever one!

What's on your wishlist for Fall?! Anything you think should be on mine? Let me know below!

Until Next Time,

Emily
