I'm Blue.

"Da ba dee da ba die..."

(Periwinkle Top: ASTR ; Silk top: Frenchi ; Jeans: Gap; Kimono: Peony Brand; Heels: Enzo Angiolini )

Now don't get me wrong, I love the winter. Christmas, my birthday, the cold air, not sweating. All things I love!

However I'm desperate to wear my summer pieces. In fact I'm so desperate I tried on all my summer wardrobe the other day... Yeah, it's that bad.

So in order to cheer myself up this week, I decided to put some spring time into my outfit.

This gorgeous kimino is a "hand-me-down" from a friend of mine and can I just say, I'm SO glad she wanted to get rid of it! haha. It embodies spring time fashion for me. It's ornate, bright, and can be worn in so many ways. Once it gets warmer- throw it over a little dress and pop on some pumps!

Layering is key when it comes to winter.

Layering = Cosy. Cosy= Happy.

I paired this gorgeous periwinkle crop with a silver silk teeshirt.

It ties in with the silk of the kimono and gives the structured top a relaxed feel. (Also it covers my stomach, which would freeze otherwise!)

As always, my jeans are staple boyfriend jeans. Instead of going for my dark wash, I picked up my light wash denim. Light wash was perfect for keeping the look summery.

The nude heel help keep the focus on the rest of the outfit. You could pair this outfit with some bright heels, but as I have no heels like that I kept it basic.

Oh, and just to let you guys know- only 42 days until the first day of Spring.

Aka, the first day I tell myself I can wear shorts. The convo usually goes like this:

"Ah, it's only 45? Well, it's the first day of spring- shorts no matter what!"

How do you guys get over the winter wardrobe slump? I would love to know!

Also- If you aren't already, follow my IG, Twitter, or Lookbook to see what I'm up to on a daily basis!

Until next time,
