That 70's Show.

Grab your vinyls and your peace sign necklaces because it seems the 70s will be making a comeback for S/S15! The runways displayed plenty of bright pastels, denim and flowing maxi dresses for this year and personally, I could not be more excited. I personally find it hard to incorporate colors into my wardrobe, with my favorite colors being bordeaux and grey, but this season I'm making an effort towards incorporating these amazing trends into my wardrobe! Now runway designs are sometimes hard to wear, so with these posts I want to show you more wearable designs that have the same groovy influences!

The first look, from House of Holland, is a fabulous green pantsuit that screams the 1970s. However, if you are intimidated by how busy it is, an alternative would be this jumpsuit from Anthropologie. This is definately a more dressy look, but perfect for any event! In fact it would be perfect for a night out with your fox!

Words cannot describe this Chloè dress from their spring show. Seriously, I'm in love. However, if you aren't diggin' the canary vibes of this dress and prefer more neutral tones, this maxi dress from Urban Outfitters is for you! The high neck is a personal fav as it balances out the low back on this dress. Now go thread some flowers through your hair and listen to Zeppelin!

Louis Vuitton brought back the ionic mini dress that the 1970s are known for. However, if this black and orange stripe is too loud for you, a great alternative would be this shift dress from Topshop. Layered with a blouse, this muted paisley dress is perfect to go to the disco in!

How do you plan to wear these 70s pieces? Whats your favorite look from the runway?

I don't know about you, but now I have the extreme urge to go watch some Austin Powers. Yeah, baby, yeah!

xx
Emily
